Simon brings over 25 years of experience in building technology-driven businesses, with the past 15 years dedicated to advancing innovation in Life Sciences. His expertise spans a wide range of technologies, from hands-on development to strategic leadership roles, including CTO, CEO, and board-level positions. With a proven track record of scaling companies from startup phase to multimillion-dollar enterprises, Simon’s insights will be invaluable in shaping Axis MedTech’s future.
His leadership has been instrumental in driving innovation and commercial success across the MedTech space. Having collaborated with some of the world's largest medical technology companies, he understands the key elements that make businesses attractive for long-term growth and strategic partnerships. Previously, Simon served as acting CEO of Truspine International Ltd., where he guided business strategy, investor relations, and market positioning. Most recently Simon has been collaborating with VDyne on their groundbreaking Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Replacement System, designed to treat Tricuspid Regurgitation. His expertise plays a vital role in utilising CT scans for preoperative modelling and postoperative analysis, ensuring precise assessments and clarity of patient outcomes.
