Geoff Miller leads the executive team, as the Chair of the Board. His background is originally in the finance sector, having spent twenty years as a fund manager and analyst at various financial institutions, before moving to the Boardroom for the last twenty years, in businesses from start-ups to multi-billion dollar international quoted companies. As such he brings a wealth of experience of corporate governance and finance, with an emphasis on turnarounds and restructuring. In his last role leading an executive team in turning around a business, as CEO of GLI Finance, he made shareholders a more than fifteen-fold return during his tenure.

He has executed a wide number of transactions ranging from negotiating licences and M&As, to transformational technology partnerships with companies such as Merck, GSK, Pharmacia (merged with Pfizer) and Abbott (now AbbVie) as well as helping to establish preclinical research programmes with a number ofindustrial partners and set up joint ventures, start-ups, and spinout companies to develop novel technologies.

Frank Boehm has been involved in product development for almost 20 years, initially as a neurosurgical consultant for a number of major spine instrumentation companies including Medtronic, J & J, and Stryker. Since 1999, he has been involved in original products development, and has been awarded 29 patents in multiple jurisdictions and sovereignties, with more than 40 applications currently being examined.
A minimally-invasive pedicle screw system he created in 2002 was ultimately assigned to Innovative Spinal Technologies (IST), who marketed this product as the Paramount Pedicle Screw System. This product was awarded the coveted Frost & Sullivan Award, the most vaunted award in product development for the spine, in 2007 for the best New Spinal Technology brought to the market in 2006.
